BARITO KUALA — DT Peduli South Kalimantan distributed nutritious food packages and vitamins to 12 children identified as being at risk of stunting in the Berangas area, Alalak District, on Tuesday (25 November 2025).

The program was carried out as part of efforts to help accelerate the reduction of stunting rates by providing additional nutritional support for vulnerable children. The activity was also supported by internship students from the Banjarmasin Polytechnic Campus.

Distribution was conducted door-to-door based on prior survey data to ensure that assistance reached the intended beneficiaries. Each package included fruit, nutritious biscuits, and vitamins, which were delivered directly to the homes of the recipient families.

One of the parents, Maimunah, expressed her gratitude for the support.

“This assistance has been very helpful in meeting our child’s daily nutritional needs, especially for families who struggle to provide nutritious food. We are grateful, and hope programs like this continue for the health of the children in Berangas,” she said.

DT Peduli South Kalimantan hopes this initiative will contribute meaningfully to children’s growth and development and serve as a sustained effort to help lower stunting rates in the region.
