BARITO KUALA — DT Peduli South Kalimantan distributed food aid packages to residents in need along Berangas Street, Berangas Village, Alalak Subdistrict, on Tuesday (December 2, 2025).
The program aims to help meet the basic needs of vulnerable community members, particularly elderly residents, as well as individuals who are ill and experiencing economic hardship.
Each food package contained 5 kilograms of rice, 1 kilogram of eggs, 1 litre of cooking oil, and instant noodles. Distribution was carried out door to door by the DT Peduli South Kalimantan team in collaboration with local volunteers to ensure the assistance reached beneficiaries directly and accurately.
Two residents, Hudri and Samsul, received the aid. Both expressed their gratitude, noting that the support was highly beneficial amid their limited health and economic conditions. They also offered prayers for the donors and volunteers involved.
“Alhamdulillah, thank you to DT Peduli. This assistance is very helpful. May it be a blessing,” said Hudri.
