BANJARMASIN – In a heartfelt collaboration, DT Peduli South Kalimantan (Kalsel) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia organized a special Eid Celebration for Orphans and Children with Disabilities on Thursday, July 24, 2025. The event, held at the DT Peduli Kalsel Office Hall, was a touching moment to share joy and compassion during the sacred Islamic month.
A total of five orphaned and underprivileged children were the main beneficiaries of this program. They received essential food packages and financial support, symbolizing genuine care and a wish for them to experience the warmth and joy of Eid.
Heryannor, Program Manager of DT Peduli South Kalimantan, expressed his gratitude during his welcoming remarks:
“Alhamdulillah, today we are blessed to gather together for this special Eid program. This event is part of DT Peduli Kalsel’s ongoing commitment to spread kindness and happiness, especially to orphans and the underprivileged who deserve our collective attention. We are also grateful to the Ministry of Religious Affairs for the strong collaboration that made this event possible.”
The atmosphere in the hall was filled with emotion and joy as the gifts and donations were distributed. One of the beneficiaries, Nouval (10 years old), beamed with gratitude and excitement:
“Thank you so much to everyone from DT Peduli and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. I’m so happy for the gifts and support. May Allah reward all of you for this kindness,” he said sweetly.
The Eid Celebration for Orphans and Children with Disabilities is more than just a moment of material giving—it serves as a source of motivation and encouragement for children in need to continue pursuing their dreams.
