KEPULAUAN MERANTI—From Monday (4 August 2025) to Wednesday (6 August 2025), DT Peduli Riau distributed waqf Qur’ans and Iqra’s books to students of Rumah Tahfidz Al-Qudsi and RA & TPA Al-Falah.
The distribution occurred in Teluk Samak Village and Citra Damai Village, both located in Rangsang Subdistrict. The symbolic handover was held at MTs Raudhatul Hidayah, Tanjung Samak Village, and attended by Acting Subdistrict Head (Plt. Camat) of Rangsang, Budi Cahyadi; Rangsang Police Chief, IPDA Dominikus Turnip; Head of the Rangsang District Religious Affairs Office (KUA); and representatives from DT Peduli.
The main goal of this initiative is to act as a bridge for goodness from donors while fostering a Qur’anic generation.
“We hope these waqf Qur’ans and Iqra’ books will inspire the students and young generation to keep learning and living by the values of the Qur’an,” said Rifqi, Corporate Staff of DT Peduli Riau.
Eka Nazra, a teacher at Rumah Tahfidz Al-Qudsi, expressed deep gratitude.
“Alhamdulillah, we are truly helped and touched by this Qur’an and Iqra’ waqf. Our students will be more motivated to learn and memorise. May Allah reward all the donors with limitless blessings,” she said.
