DT Peduli Restores Smiles for Children Affected by Cimulang Floods
BOGOR – After the floods that struck Kampung Cibarengkok, Cimulang Subdistrict, Ranca Bungur District, Bogor Regency, nine children affected by the disaster are now able to return to school thanks to assistance from DT Peduli.
The floods, which occurred recently, submerged residents’ homes and damaged or swept away essential belongings, including school uniforms, shoes, books, and stationery. As a result, several children were unable to attend school for days.
To help ease this burden, DT Peduli distributed new school uniforms, shoes, books, and complete stationery kits to nine affected children on Thursday (21 August 2025). This support is expected to reduce the financial strain on families and ensure the children can continue their studies comfortably.
Ustadz Aep, a local community leader, expressed his gratitude for the aid provided.
“Jazakumullah Khairan Katsiran to DT Peduli and all the donors. This assistance means so much because children who previously couldn’t attend school due to losing their supplies can now continue learning. May Allah SWT reward all this kindness with abundant blessings,” he said.
DT Peduli remains committed to responding in times of emergency and recovery, especially when it concerns children’s education and well-being. This program is part of a rapid response effort to mitigate the impacts of natural disasters on vulnerable groups, particularly school-aged children.
