DT Peduli Reaffirms Full Commitment to Support the Asia-Pacific Conference for Palestine

October 30, 2025 | By AID/GM

JAKARTA – DT Peduli reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people through active participation in the Asia-Pacific Conference for Palestine, which will be held on 7–8 November 2025 at the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Complex, Senayan.

The statement was conveyed by Jajang Nurjaman, Director of DT Peduli, following a press conference at the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Headquarters on Thursday (30 October 2025).

“Alhamdulillah, DT Peduli is honoured to be one of the supporting institutions directly involved in the upcoming Asia-Pacific Conference for Palestine, insyaAllah on 8 November at the DPR RI Building,” said Jajang Nurjaman.

He emphasised that this involvement reflects DT Peduli’s consistent and concrete commitment to standing alongside the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle for justice and freedom.

Jajang further asserted that DT Peduli will never cease to pray for, support, and assist the people of Palestine until they achieve full independence. The organisation remains ready to contribute to any initiative — government-led, civil, or community-based — that strengthens global solidarity for Palestine.

“We hope this effort continues to ignite collaboration and strengthen the spirit of solidarity among Indonesians and the global community. DT Peduli is ready to serve as a bridge, connecting people’s compassion and generosity to our brothers and sisters in Palestine,” Jajang added.

The Asia-Pacific Conference for Palestine is initiated by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) in collaboration with the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Body (BKSAP) of the DPR RI, the Palestinian Embassy in Jakarta, the Global Coalition for Al-Quds and Palestine (GCAP), and several Indonesian philanthropic organisations — including Dompet Dhuafa, Rumah Zakat, Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia (IZI), Forum Zakat (FOZ), and Daarut Tauhiid Peduli (DT Peduli).

Carrying the theme “Strengthening Alliances to Defend Palestine”, the conference is a follow-up to the mandate received by the MUI delegation during the GCAP meeting in Istanbul, Türkiye, in September 2025.

According to Dr. H. Amirsyah Tambunan, Secretary General of MUI, the conference serves as a timely response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis and worsening conditions faced by Palestinians. Since October 2023, more than 60,000 civilians—over half of them women and children—have lost their lives due to the continued aggression in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Mardani Ali Sera, Chair of BKSAP DPR RI, expressed his honour that the parliamentary complex will serve as the “people’s house” hosting this historic event, which is expected to bring together around 70 delegates from across Asia and the Pacific.

The conference aims to strengthen solidarity, formulate actionable strategies to halt the genocide, and promote Palestinian independence, culminating in the issuance of a collective resolution titled “The Asia-Pacific Declaration for Palestine 2025.”
