MALANG – DT Peduli Malang is taking proactive steps to prevent stunting by launching the Quality Health Services program. On Friday (22 August 2025), DT Peduli Malang, in collaboration with health workers from Taman Posyandu Alamanda IVB RW 04 Polehan, carried out a program providing supplementary nutrition and health checks for children living along the Brantas River, specifically in Gang Permadi, Polehan Subdistrict, Blimbing District, Malang City.

A total of 10 children benefited from this initiative. Each child underwent comprehensive health checks, including weight and height measurements, as well as overall physical assessments. In addition, they received nutritious supplementary food as a concrete step to prevent stunting from an early age.

DT Peduli Malang emphasized that this initiative will not stop at a single event. The children will continue to be monitored over the next three months to track improvements in their health. This periodic monitoring is designed to ensure measurable positive changes while serving as the basis for program evaluation.

“So, your child will be monitored for three months to see the final results,” explained Feti Nur Sheila, Program PIC of DT Peduli Malang’s Quality Health Services.

This marks the second collaboration between DT Peduli Malang and Taman Posyandu Alamanda IVB, reflecting a shared commitment to reducing stunting rates—an issue that remains a significant public health challenge across Indonesia, including in urban areas like Malang.

Through its Quality Health Services, DT Peduli Malang hopes to make a tangible contribution toward improving children’s health and overall well-being.
