DT Peduli Kepri Distributes Aid to Residents in Batam City

BATAM – DT Peduli Kepri distributed food packages and cash assistance to underprivileged residents in Batam City on Wednesday (13 August 2025). This distribution was carried out as a mandate from muzaki (donors) who wished to channel their professional zakat through the organization.

The assistance reached several areas, including Bengkong District, Batam Kota District, and Sagulung District. In addition to essential food items, cash aid was provided to help meet residents’ daily needs.

Fatimah, one of the beneficiaries living in Kampung Berlian, behind Batam Center, expressed her gratitude:

“Thank you so much for the food package and the cash support, which I will use as additional capital for my mini martabak stall at the town square and at the WTB (Welcome to Batam) tourist area,” she said.

This initiative reflects DT Peduli Kepri’s commitment to caring for those in need, while also fulfilling the trust entrusted to them by muzaki.
