JAKARTA, INDONESIA – In an effort to nurture future generations grounded in Islamic values, DT Peduli Jakarta is actively supporting TPA Al-Fajr, an Islamic learning center located in Pademangan, North Jakarta. The center currently serves around 40 young students, providing early education in Qur’an memorization and Islamic teachings.
Daily learning sessions are held consistently, with students divided into three groups: Ashar, Maghrib, and Isya classes. Each group receives lessons tailored to their skill levels and memorization abilities.
Iin, Head of TPA Al-Fajr, expressed her joy at the enthusiasm shown by the students:
“Alhamdulillah, the children are very enthusiastic. They love learning, especially memorizing daily prayers and salah recitations,” she said.
Ustadz Agus, one of the instructors, shared that creating a joyful and motivating learning environment is key:
“We try to make the learning experience enjoyable and full of motivation so the children can develop a love for the Qur’an from an early age,” he explained.
To support this initiative, DT Peduli Jakarta provided educational materials on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, including 40 books, prayer posters, and teaching tools such as whiteboards, markers, and erasers. Additionally, DT Peduli continues to provide operational assistance to ensure the sustainability of education at the center.
One of the students, Fatir, happily shared his excitement:
“I’m so happy to receive new books! It makes me even more excited to learn,” he said with a bright smile.
Through this partnership, DT Peduli Jakarta hopes to strengthen the spirit and dedication of both students and educators at TPA Al-Fajr, ultimately contributing to the development of a generation that loves the Qur’an and embodies noble character.
