DT Peduli, ITB Alumni Association, and Paskas Provide Clean Water Access at Evacuation Shelter

PIDIE JAYA — DT Peduli, in collaboration with the ITB Alumni Association and Paskas, has installed a clean-water filtration machine to support disaster survivors at the evacuation shelter in Bunot Village, Meureudeu Subdistrict, Pidie Jaya Regency.

The machine functions by processing contaminated water into clean, usable water that meets daily needs such as cooking, washing, and sanitation. Its presence has become a vital contribution to safeguarding the health and comfort of displaced residents during their stay at the shelter.

“The presence of this machine is very helpful, especially when clean water is so difficult to find, and the needs here are so many. We are deeply grateful for the support of the volunteers,” said Rianda, one of the evacuees, while waiting in line to collect filtered water on Sunday (7 December 2025).

This collaborative effort is expected to ease the burden of affected communities and support them until conditions gradually return to normal.
