PANDEGLANG, INDONESIA — The spirit of spreading the light of the Qur’an continues to thrive in Pandeglang Regency. On Monday, July 21, 2025, DT Peduli distributed copies of the Holy Qur’an to two Islamic education institutions in the region: TPQ Hijaiyah in Kampung Brebes, Mekarsari Village, Panimbang District, and Yayasan Bakti Nusantara in Sidamukti, Sukaresmi District.
This initiative aims to support Qur’anic learning and memorization among students and young learners. With the availability of new Qur’ans, teaching and learning processes are expected to become more effective, while interest in Islamic studies—especially among the younger generation—continues to grow.
Located in the remote village of Kampung Brebes, TPQ Hijaiyah welcomed the donation with joy and gratitude. Teachers and students expressed their appreciation, noting that the improved access to Qur’ans will significantly enhance their daily Qur’anic lessons.
Similarly, Yayasan Bakti Nusantara—an institution known for its commitment to nurturing young generations through religious and educational programs—also expressed deep gratitude. With the additional Qur’ans, the foundation is now even more equipped to foster a Qur’an-literate generation with strong moral character.
Ustadz Salim, a teacher at TPQ Hijaiyah, said:
“We thank DT Peduli for providing these Qur’ans to our students. It gives them more motivation to learn the Qur’an.”
Likewise, Hafsoh, a teacher at Yayasan Bakti Nusantara, shared her heartfelt thanks:
“Alhamdulillah, as an educator here, I sincerely thank DT Peduli and all the donors who have helped us obtain these Qur’ans, enabling our students to better read and understand the Word of God.”
Epul Saepudin, Distribution Officer of DT Peduli Serang, affirmed that this Qur’an distribution is part of fulfilling the trust placed by donors.
“Alhamdulillah, the Qur’ans entrusted to us by donors have been successfully distributed. May every verse recited become ongoing rewards (sadaqah jariyah) for them,” he said.
He also emphasized that adequate facilities and infrastructure—including access to Qur’ans—are essential in creating a supportive learning environment and raising future generations firmly grounded in religious values.
DT Peduli hopes this Qur’an distribution program will inspire other individuals and organizations to contribute to the advancement of Islamic education in underserved regions.
