BOGOR – The recent surge in staple food prices has been deeply felt by communities, especially those relying on daily wages and living in economic hardship. In such difficult times, the presence of humanitarian support is crucial to help ease their burdens.
Responding to this situation, DT Peduli once again carried out a humanitarian initiative by distributing essential food aid to families affected by the economic downturn. One of the recipients was Fahrizal, a Bogor resident currently struggling through challenging times.
Without a steady job, Fahrizal spends his days helping to clean a local mosque. Though he receives no salary, he is allowed to live, bathe, and rest within the mosque premises.
On Monday (25 August 2025), DT Peduli volunteers personally delivered a food relief package to him. The package contained daily essentials such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, egg noodles, flour, and other basic necessities vital for survival.
In an emotional and heartfelt moment, Mr. Fahrizal expressed his gratitude:
“Thank you so much to DT Peduli. Nowadays, the price of food is very high, and even meeting daily needs feels increasingly difficult. This assistance truly eases the burden on me and my family. May Allah bless DT Peduli and grant them ease in their noble work,” he said.
This food relief program reflects DT Peduli’s commitment to reaching vulnerable families directly impacted by the economic crisis, rising living costs, and other daily struggles. The initiative serves as a bridge of kindness between generous donors and those in urgent need.
One of the DT Peduli volunteers delivering the aid shared a hopeful message:
“The assistance may not be large, but we hope it can uplift the spirits of families who are striving to survive and rebuild their lives,” the volunteer said.
