BOGOR — DT Peduli distributed food aid packages to elderly residents in Kedung Waringin, Bogor, on Friday (29 August 2025). The program aims to ease the burden of senior citizens, particularly in the face of rising prices of daily necessities.
A total of seven elderly beneficiaries received the assistance: Mami, Juriah, Sopiah, Enan, Uri, Asimah, and Anidah. Some of them are in very fragile condition, bedridden due to age and declining health.
The aid consisted of staple food packages, including rice, cooking oil, sugar, egg noodles, flour, and other daily essentials. DT Peduli volunteers personally delivered the packages to each recipient’s home.
Sopiah could not hold back tears upon receiving the support. With gratitude, she shared:
“Thank you so much for this assistance. Prices of rice and cooking oil just keep rising. Alhamdulillah, DT Peduli came with this package. May you be granted more blessings and abundance.”
This initiative is part of DT Peduli’s ongoing commitment to reaching vulnerable communities, especially elderly residents without income who live in difficult conditions. It also reflects a spirit of social solidarity and compassion for others.
