PIDIE JAYA — DT Peduli has distributed clean water storage tanks to be used as reservoirs for safe and usable water at evacuation sites across Pidie Jaya Regency, on Wednesday (December 10, 2025).
The provision of these tanks is a crucial step in meeting the basic needs of disaster survivors, including cooking, bathing, ablution, and other sanitation requirements at displacement locations.
DT Peduli volunteers worked in collaboration with village officials and local residents to install the tanks at strategic points, ensuring easy access for all displaced families.
“Clean water is a primary necessity. With the presence of these tanks, evacuees can feel more secure knowing that water supplies can be properly stored and accessed,” said one volunteer at the site.
This initiative forms part of DT Peduli’s ongoing commitment to delivering comprehensive disaster response services, ranging from food logistics and essential facilities to health services. The assistance is expected to ease the burden on affected communities and accelerate recovery efforts in the impacted areas.
