DT Peduli Cianjur Distributes Aid for Sanitation Facilities at Al-Khoiriyyah Islamic Boarding School

CIANJUR – DT Peduli Cianjur has distributed funds collected through a crowdfunding initiative to support the construction and supervision of sanitation facilities (MCK – bathing, washing, toilet) at Al-Khoiriyyah Islamic Boarding School, located in Pataruman Village, Cianjur Regency, on Tuesday (19/8/2025).

The program was designed to meet the basic needs of more than 70 female students (santri akhwat). Previously, the ratio was only 1 toilet for every 20 students, far from ideal, especially since the same facilities were also used for laundry.

This shortage led to long queues, particularly during critical times such as mornings before school and evenings before Maghrib. In many cases, the time constraints prevented some students from bathing, directly affecting their readiness for learning and religious activities.

Thanks to the contributions of donors channeled through DT Peduli, the facility ratio has now improved to 1 toilet for every 10 female students. This upgrade has provided greater comfort and time efficiency in their daily routines.

Ustadz Ridwan, Chairman of the Foundation overseeing Al-Khoiriyyah, expressed his gratitude:
