CIANJUR, INDONESIA — In a continued effort to empower local economies, DT Peduli Cianjur, in collaboration with scholarship recipients from the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) at Suryakancana University (Unsur), conducted field assistance and interviews with beneficiaries of the UMKM Unggul (Outstanding Microbusinesses Program) on Friday, July 11, 2025.
This activity reflects a meaningful collaboration between the social sector and academia in enhancing the capacity of micro-entrepreneurs. The students were actively involved on-site, conducting field observations and gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by microbusinesses supported by DT Peduli.
In addition to mentoring, the students also carried out structured interviews with the beneficiaries to identify issues related to marketing, financial management, and product development. The data collected will serve as a foundation for students to formulate practical solutions that can support the long-term sustainability of these businesses.
“This activity is not only a valuable learning experience for the students but also an opportunity for them to contribute fresh ideas that address the real challenges faced by micro-entrepreneurs. We hope this program will deliver sustainable impact,” said Herul Anwar, Head of DT Peduli Cianjur Service Office.
