GAZA — A humanitarian mission from the skies has been carried out. In a collaboration between Indonesia’s DT Peduli, Baitulmaal Nasional (BNU), and the United Arab Emirates Air Force (UAEAF), 2,304 packages of essential food supplies were successfully air-dropped to Gaza on Sunday (7 September 2025), reaching an estimated 11,520 people trapped under total blockade.

In this mission, a UAEAF Hercules aircraft was deployed to directly drop aid into designated safe zones within Gaza, an area suffering from an enduring humanitarian crisis.

“Each package dropped is not only filled with food supplies, but also with love, prayers, and compassion from the people of Indonesia. It is a message that Palestine will never be left alone,” said Ihsan, President Director of DT Peduli’s Community Service Division.
The aid packages contained staple food items such as rice, flour, cooking oil, powdered milk, clean water, and ready-to-eat meals. All items were securely and hygienically packaged to ensure safe air delivery and immediate usability by recipients.

This air-drop mission has become one of the most moving demonstrations of global solidarity, as powerful images of aid falling from the sky — and being gratefully received by Gaza’s residents — spread across social media. The moment symbolized that humanity cannot be silenced by a blockade.

DT Peduli extends its deepest gratitude to all donors whose trust made this mission possible. Every contribution has now transformed into life-sustaining relief for those enduring immense hardship.
