TANGERANG – In a continued effort to support community economic empowerment, DT Peduli Banten, in collaboration with Al Kautsar Mosque Taman Chrysant 2, has provided business capital assistance to Warung Mendoan Rizky, owned by Lia, a widow living in Kampung Ciater Tengah, RT 07 RW 06 No. 21, Ciater Subdistrict, Serpong District, South Tangerang City, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Lia, who sells tempe mendoan (Indonesian-style fried tempeh), works hard alone to cover her family’s daily needs and fund her child’s education, who is currently still attending school in their hometown. Thanks to the business capital assistance, Lia has now been able to develop her small business, which she named Pondok Mendoan Rizky, and is hopeful that it will help support her family and her child’s schooling needs.
“Alhamdulillah, thank you very much to Al Kautsar Mosque for providing business capital to support my Pondok Mendoan Rizky, and to DT Peduli Banten as well. May DT Peduli Banten continue to thrive and keep supporting those in need,” said Lia with gratitude.
Through this economic empowerment initiative, DT Peduli Banten hopes to support more underprivileged individuals (mustahik) in achieving economic independence. May this strong partnership continue to bring wider benefits to the surrounding communities.
