DTPEDULI.ORG | TANGERANG – DT Peduli Banten continues demonstrating its commitment to empowering communities through the UMKM Unggul (Excellent Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Program. In collaboration with the Mosque Management Committee (DKM) of Al Kautsar Mosque, Taman Chrysant 02 BSD, DT Peduli Banten distributed business capital support to Warung Mama Nazmah, a small local shop managed by Setiawati, on Thursday (July 3, 2025).
Located in Kampung Ciater Tengah, RT 07 RW 21, Ciater Subdistrict, Serpong District, South Tangerang City, the shop sells various snacks for children in the surrounding neighborhood. Previously, the shop was forced to close due to a lack of working capital.
Thanks to the financial assistance received, Setiawati is now able to reopen her small business—even if it’s just from the front terrace of her modest three-room rented house. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported her.
“Alhamdulillah, my shop is back in business after being closed for a while. Thank you so much to DT Peduli Banten and the Al Kautsar Mosque Committee at Taman Chrysant 02 BSD. May you always be blessed, stay healthy, and may DT Peduli Banten continue to grow and prosper,” said Setiawati, emotionally.
Through the UMKM Unggul Program, DT Peduli Banten hopes to help economically challenged individuals rise up and become self-reliant, while creating sustainable business opportunities that benefit the local community.
