MAJALENGKA, INDONESIA – In celebration of Muharram Peduli Yatim, DT Peduli, in collaboration with the Tabassum Community, organized a special outing for dozens of orphaned children to enjoy a day of swimming and sightseeing in Talaga District, Majalengka Regency, on Saturday (August 2, 2025).

The day began with a fun-filled swimming session at Hikmah Jaya Swimming Pool, where the children splashed and played in the water under the warm guidance of the volunteers. The relaxed and joyful atmosphere brought smiles to every child’s face.

After swimming, the children were taken to Pesona Alam Gunung Laya in Argasari Village, a serene nature spot known for its fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery. Here, they enjoyed a picnic-style lunch together, strengthening the sense of togetherness and joy.

Beyond recreation, the children also received cash donations and food packages—a heartfelt gesture of care from donors channeled through DT Peduli and the Tabassum Community.

“Alhamdulillah, thank you very much to DT Peduli. My child is so happy to have been invited to swim and enjoy this outing. May those who supported this program be blessed with even greater fortune,” said Nunung, mother of Nazira, one of the program’s participants.

Before continuing the activities, the children also took part in Dzuhur prayer in congregation, surrounded by the natural beauty of the location. A short motivational session was delivered to inspire the children to continue learning and doing good deeds.

Both DT Peduli and the Tabassum Community expressed their hope for this initiative to become a regular program and to inspire more people to care for orphans and underprivileged children.

“Although this event was held just after the month of Muharram, the spirit behind it remains the same — to honor and bring happiness to orphaned children. We want them to feel loved, cared for, and truly joyful,” said Nanang, Marketing Staff of DT Peduli Kuningan.
