SEMARANG — PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART), in collaboration with DT Peduli Central Java, organized an Entrepreneurship Workshop at Hotel Candi Indah, Semarang, on Friday (September 26, 2025). As part of the “XLSMART Cares: Empowering Disabilities” initiative, the program brought together 22 participants with hearing and physical disabilities to enhance their digital literacy skills.
The workshop aimed to equip participants with relevant digital skills, covering topics such as digital safety, online ethics, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design promotional content for MSMEs on social media.
Awang Joneri, Head of Programs at DT Peduli, emphasized the importance of digital training for participants who are already running small businesses. “This training focuses on digital literacy so they can scale up their businesses, reach wider markets, and maximize MSME opportunities,” he explained.
Dani M. Akhyar, Head of Corporate Communication & CSR at XLSMART, added that the program targets potential development, digital literacy, and equal access to digital entrepreneurship.
The workshop in Semarang was part of a broader XLSMART Cares: Empowering Disabilities series, which, since June 2025, has involved more than 265 persons with various disabilities from 65 cities across Indonesia. The collaboration was also supported by Bloggercrony Indonesia Community, PPDI, Peak Performance Indonesia, and Gerkatin Semarang City.
