Carrying Emergency Aid, Four DT Peduli Vehicles Endure 20-Hour Journey to Reach Flood and Landslide Survivors in Sibolga

Monday, 1 December 2025 | DT Peduli Team | Sibolga, North Sumatra

SIBOLGA – DT Peduli dispatched four vehicles loaded with emergency relief supplies—including staple food items, decent clothing, hygiene kits, and medicines—to assist survivors of floods and landslides in Sibolga City and the wider Tapanuli region.

The humanitarian convoy began its journey on Monday (1 December 2025).

The land journey is estimated to take around 20 hours from Medan, as many road sections leading to the affected areas have been severely damaged. The team is traveling slowly and with extreme caution to ensure all aid arrives safely and intact.

“We ask for prayers from everyone so that this journey proceeds smoothly and safely. May we deliver all of this aid to its destination without obstacles,” said Dede Suhartono, DT Peduli Program Manager, who is also part of the convoy.

Upon arrival, the team will immediately distribute the relief supplies. DT Peduli hopes that their presence can help ease the burden of communities currently struggling to recover.
