BANDUNG – Students of Rumah Peduli Yatim (RPY) DT Peduli Bandung took part in the “Wirausaha Santri RPY – Donut Selling Practice” entrepreneurship activity at the Gasibu area on Sunday (9/11/2025). This developmental program aims to foster independence, build confidence in interacting with the public, and provide real-life entrepreneurial experience as preparation for their future.
Starting early in the morning, the students, along with their mentors, brought donuts from Carofee to sell to Gasibu visitors. With great enthusiasm, they walked around offering their products while learning how to politely serve customers, manage finances, and uphold honesty in business.
One of the students, Fikri, shared his excitement:
“At first, I felt shy when I started selling, but as time went on, it became fun because many people were friendly and bought from us. Now I know what it feels like to run a business on my own,” he said proudly with a smile.
Through this activity, DT Peduli hopes that RPY students will continue to develop entrepreneurial skills, build mental resilience, and grow into independent individuals who are ready to contribute to society.
