KULON PROGO, INDONESIA – The Kampung Unggul Livestock Group of Dusun Puser held another routine meeting on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Sabilissalam Mosque, located in Padukuhan Puser, Banjararum Village, Kalibawang District. The gathering was attended by group members, community leaders, and program facilitators.
The meeting aimed to evaluate the progress of livestock maintenance, address challenges faced by members, and develop strategies to enhance the productivity of Kampung Unggul (local superior breed) livestock. In addition to technical discussions, the event also served as a valuable moment of togetherness, strengthening bonds among farmers.
Musiman, Head of the Kampung Unggul Livestock Group, expressed his optimism:
“We’re truly grateful to be able to consistently meet and discuss the development of our Kampung Unggul livestock. With solid cooperation and proper guidance, we believe this group can improve members’ welfare and bring greater benefits to the wider community.”
DT Peduli Yogyakarta, as a supporting partner, continues to provide mentoring and regular monitoring to ensure the sustainability of the program. The hope is that the Kampung Unggul Group in Dusun Puser will become a model of community-based livestock empowerment—resilient, independent, and productive.
