ACEH BESAR, Indonesia — In the spirit of spreading blessings on the most virtuous day of the week, DT Peduli Aceh once again carried out its “Blessed Friday” (Jum’at Berkah) program by distributing meal packages and refreshing drinks to orphans across Montasik Subdistrict, Aceh Besar, on Friday (31 October 2025).
This program is part of DT Peduli Aceh’s ongoing initiative conducted every Friday across various regions in Aceh. Its purpose is to bring smiles and happiness to orphaned children while fostering a spirit of generosity and compassion within the community.
The distribution was carried out directly by the DT Peduli Aceh team together with local volunteers. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by residents and beneficiaries alike. Also in attendance were village heads from the entire Montasik area, showing strong community support for the initiative.
Ahsani, representative of DT Peduli Aceh, explained that the Blessed Friday program serves as a platform to nurture social empathy and strengthen communal bonds.
“Through this program, we aim to encourage the community to make Fridays a moment of sharing and kindness. Every donation carries a smile and heartfelt prayer from those who receive it,” said Ahsani.
The event was filled with joy and warmth as children received their meal packages with bright smiles and cheerful expressions.
“We are very grateful to DT Peduli Aceh and all the donors for their care and attention toward our children. May programs like this continue and bring blessings to everyone involved,” said the youth mosque leader of Piyeung, Montasik.
