PADANG, INDONESIA — To spread kindness on a blessed day, DT Peduli West Sumatra (Sumbar) continued its regular “Blessed Friday” program on Friday, July 18, 2025. This time, the team visited Baitul Hidayah Al Mukarramah Orphanage in Padang City to distribute aid.
The DT Peduli team shared boxed meals with the children and caretakers at the orphanage. This act of generosity served not only as daily food support but also as a reminder of the importance of sharing, especially on a day filled with spiritual blessings.
“Blessed Friday is not just a food distribution program; it is a way for us to build bonds and grow empathy among people. We aim to be present, to connect, and to bring a little happiness that we hope will be meaningful to them,” said Halimahtus Sa’diyah, Program Manager of DT Peduli Sumbar.
Through this initiative, DT Peduli Sumbar hopes to inspire more people to take part in acts of kindness, strengthen social solidarity, and ensure that support reaches all layers of society.
