CAIRO, EGYPT – The food aid packing process for Gaza, held at the Ramadhan District in Cairo, involved dozens of Indonesian student volunteers currently studying at Al-Azhar University, Egypt, on Saturday (March 15, 2025).

M. Ihsan, Director of the Community Service Division at DT Peduli, described their participation as key to the successful distribution of the aid.

“Alhamdulillah, these Al-Azhar students are responsive, caring, and passionate about the cause of Palestine. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to complete the packing of 1,000 food packages much faster—even during the month of Ramadhan,” he said.
The food aid packages included rice, flour, cooking oil, dates, cheese, pasta, tea, and other necessities.

Each package is expected to meet a family’s nutritional needs for an entire month.

“May Allah accept our deeds in this blessed month and honor everyone who has contributed. Let us continue to pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Palestine,” said Wahyu Prihartono, DT Peduli Supervisor.
