WEST LAMPUNG – DT Peduli Lampung distributed 60 food packages to survivors of the flash floods in Gunung Sari Hamlet, Banding Agung Village, Suoh District, West Lampung Regency, on Friday (19 September 2025). This humanitarian effort was carried out in collaboration with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Banjarmasin.
The distribution was led directly by the Head of DT Peduli Lampung, Redi Ansah. The team traveled 250 kilometers from Bandar Lampung, taking approximately 10 hours by land. The journey was particularly challenging as it passed through the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, navigating rocky paths, dirt roads, and steep cliffs.
The flash flood, which struck the area on Wednesday (10 September 2025), destroyed four houses, severely damaged eleven others, and affected around 130 households (472 people). Residents are currently working to clean up mud and debris from their homes, schools, and places of worship.
The Village Head of Banding Agung, Tenggono, expressed his gratitude for the support that came from donors as far away as Kalimantan. “On behalf of Banding Agung Village, I express my deepest gratitude to the CSR team of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. May this assistance ease our burdens and lift the spirits of our community. We pray for PT Pertamina’s continued growth, and for health and success for all its employees,” he said.
At present, the community still urgently needs school supplies, prayer materials, and hygiene kits.
