JAMBI – DT Peduli Jambi distributed 80 aqiqah meal packages to the students of Umi Ikhlas Orphanage, located on Lorong Perdana No. 59, Mayang Mangurai Subdistrict, Kota Baru District, Jambi City, on Friday (3 October 2025).
This activity served as a heartfelt expression of gratitude and social care, carried out through DT Peduli’s donor trust distribution program. The initiative also represented the sohibul hajat’s (host family’s) gratitude for the birth of their child. In collaboration with DT Peduli Jambi, the event ran smoothly and was warmly welcomed by the orphanage students, who were delighted to receive the meals.
The management of Umi Ikhlas Orphanage expressed deep appreciation to DT Peduli Jambi and the donors for sharing joy with the students. The assistance was seen as highly meaningful—not only helping fulfill daily food needs but also nurturing a sense of togetherness and compassion among the community.
Andi Rusli, the sohibul hajat, stated that the initiative was an expression of thankfulness for his child’s birth and a way to spread goodness to others.
“We pray that this act of charity brings blessings—both for our child, whose aqiqah is being performed, and for the students who receive it. May it be a deed of worship and strengthen our bonds of Islamic brotherhood,” said Andi Rusli.
