TASIKMALAYA – Dozens of orphans in Tasikmalaya were all smiles as they took part in the “Paragonian Bergerak BERSAHABAT” event held at Plaza Asia Tasikmalaya on Saturday (18 October 2025).
In collaboration between DT Peduli Tasikmalaya and PT Paragon Corp, the program aimed to create a joyful and meaningful day for the children — allowing them to explore the city and shop for their personal needs. Four sightseeing vehicles were prepared to take the children on a city tour of Tasikmalaya’s attractions.
Head of DT Peduli Tasikmalaya Branch, Ira Apriatin, expressed her gratitude for Paragon Corp’s support, which made the event possible.
“Alhamdulillah, the Paragonian team accompanied the children throughout the entire day — from the educational trip and happy shopping session to fun activities at TeeJay Waterpark,” said Ira.
After the city tour, the children were given the opportunity to shop for their own needs at Plaza Asia’s supermarket — from snacks to school supplies.
Event committee representative from Paragon Corp, Aziza Ratna Kumala, shared that this was their first collaboration with DT Peduli Tasikmalaya.
“We aim to move hand in hand with the community to realise ‘Merdeka Tanpa Batas’ — freedom without limits — in the fields of education, health, women’s empowerment, and the environment,” she said.
