SUKOHARJO — The DT Peduli team conducted monitoring of the Deep Well project and carried out the groundbreaking for a new water reservoir in Dusun Nandan, Karangwuni Village, Weru District, Sukoharjo Regency on Tuesday (25 November 2025).
Previously, DT Peduli had supported the construction of a Deep Bore Well in the area. The drilling was declared successful after clean, clear, and odorless water was found—an achievement that the community had long hoped for.
Residents of Nandan welcomed the news with deep gratitude, as they had waited for years for access to clean water and had never received adequate assistance from other parties.
During the same visit, the DT Peduli team began construction of a water reservoir measuring 12 meters in height, 3 meters in length, and 2.5 meters in width. Once completed, the reservoir is projected to store up to 8,000 liters of clean water.
Mansur from DT Peduli Solo stated that the reservoir project is a continuation of DT Peduli’s clean water program, aimed at regions vulnerable to drought.
“Dusun Nandan is one of the areas that frequently experiences drought every dry season. We extend our gratitude to all DT Peduli donors who have supported this initiative,” Mansur said.
