NORTH ACEH — DT Peduli conducted a rapid assessment and delivered emergency assistance to 518 families affected by flooding in Ule Reubek Barat Village, Seunuddon District, North Aceh, on Tuesday (2 December 2025).
The intervention was carried out in response to the urgent needs of residents who have been struggling with limited food supplies and restricted access to basic services.
The assessment found that the most pressing needs include food, clean water, and essential medicines to prevent post-flood illnesses. As an initial response, DT Peduli distributed aid packages containing rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, and canned sardines to help support residents’ immediate food security.
Muzakir, the Head of Ule Reubek Barat Village, stated that the community is in critical need of assistance to meet their daily food requirements.
DT Peduli’s humanitarian team continues to coordinate closely with village authorities to ensure the aid is distributed effectively and plans to provide clean water services and basic health support, given the heightened risk of waterborne diseases.
DT Peduli calls on the public to actively support ongoing emergency response efforts in North Aceh by contributing funds, resources, or volunteer time, ensuring affected families receive sustained help until they recover from the disaster’s impact.
“Your direct support—no matter the amount or form—can be a lifeline for our brothers and sisters here who are still struggling through these difficult days. Join us in making a difference,” said a DT Peduli volunteer.
