ISTANBUL—Raeny Damayanti, the representative of DT Peduli Türkiye, met with Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Islamic World, Anis Matta, in Istanbul. The meeting aimed to discuss DT Peduli’s strategic role in humanitarian missions, particularly its ongoing support for the people of Palestine.

In a warm conversation, Raeny presented various programs initiated and implemented by DT Peduli in Palestine, including constructing a water treatment plant to provide a sustainable source of clean water. This program is designed to assist Palestinians facing severe water shortages caused by the ongoing conflict.

Anis Matta welcomed the presentation, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between humanitarian organizations and national diplomacy to ensure aid reaches those in need effectively.

In addition to infrastructure projects, Raeny also highlighted the hot meal distribution initiative carried out in late July in Gaza. She further mentioned that DT Peduli will soon dispatch its fifth wave of aid as part of its commitment to maintaining continuous support for Palestine.

The meeting not only reviewed existing programs but also opened the door to strategic collaboration between DT Peduli and the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With government support, these humanitarian initiatives are expected to reach more beneficiaries and be integrated into Indonesia’s global diplomatic agenda.

“We hope this struggle becomes a shared and sustainable movement. With the support of the Vice Minister and the Indonesian government, in shaa Allah, the assistance we deliver will be more targeted, measurable, and bring real impact to our brothers and sisters in Palestine,” said Raeny.

Through this meeting, DT Peduli reaffirmed its position as a humanitarian organization building international networks to respond to crises, uniting the strength of the ummah to help those in Palestine.

“May the small steps we take here become part of a greater effort by the Muslim ummah to help one another across the globe,” Raeny concluded.
