GOWA, INDONESIA – On Friday, July 25, 2025, DT Peduli South Sulawesi brought smiles and happiness to 50 orphaned children from Makassar and Gowa through its Muharram Orphan Care Program, themed “Spreading Smiles to Receive the Help of Allah.”

The event took place at Wisata Kebun Gowa and carried the concept of a “Joyful Outing”—designed to create moments of fun, bonding, and compassion for orphaned children in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

The day began with an opening ceremony, followed by the distribution of gifts and support packages to all participants. The most anticipated highlight of the day was the swimming session, where children enjoyed the water together with excitement and laughter.

The beneficiaries included children from Fahmi Orphanage, as well as from communities in Pattalasang Gowa, Jl. Sukamaju, Jl. Abubakar Lambogo, and Jl. Barawaja.

This heartwarming activity was made possible through the generous collaboration of local sponsors, including Hisana Makkassar Raya, Coto Abah, and Klinik Daengtisia.

“It is a blessing for us at Hisana Makkassar Raya to share and spread goodness together with DT Peduli. In shaa Allah, this Muharram Orphan Care program will become a means for us to receive the help of Allah, as He promises to those who care for orphans,” said Arvan, General Manager of Hisana Makkassar Raya.

One of the participants, Aisyah (7) from Jl. Sukamaju expressed her joy:

“I’m so happy to play and swim with my friends. Thank you for taking us on this fun trip!”

Through this initiative, DT Peduli aims not only to offer a joyful experience, but also to spark hope and nurture the spirit of life in orphaned children—while inviting the broader community to continue caring, sharing, and supporting those in need, especially during the sacred month of Muharram.
