MALANG, INDONESIA – To mark the closing of the Muharram Care for Orphans 1447 H campaign, DT Peduli Malang held a Joyful Shopping event with local orphaned children on Friday, July 25, 2025, coinciding with the 29th Muharram 1447 H, the final day of the Islamic month.
The event brought together several orphaned children living near the DT Peduli Malang office. Accompanied by their guardians, the children were invited to shop for personal needs—an experience filled with excitement and joy. For many of them, it was a rare and special moment.
Ezra, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his happiness:
“Alhamdulillah, I’m so happy DT Peduli took us shopping. Thank you so much for helping me get the things I need,” he said with a big smile.
This event marked the conclusion of DT Peduli Malang’s month-long series of programs under Muharram Peduli Yatim, which focused on bringing joy and attention to orphans during the sacred month of Muharram.
DT Peduli Malang hopes the program not only provides momentary happiness, but also inspires hope, confidence, and motivation for the children as they move forward in life.
