More than 41,000 lives have been lost in Gaza. Once a land filled with vibrant schools, joyful children, and peaceful coastlines, it is now reduced to rubble, grief, and displacement.
Where there were once classrooms echoing with laughter, there are now destroyed buildings turned into shelters for refugees. Where families used to gather by the sea, there are now makeshift tents—thin fabric trying to shield them from heat, hunger, and despair. Where there were once celebrations, there are now funerals. Where there was once the laughter of children, now there is only the sound of weeping, of hunger, of pain.
The world may grow quiet. News cycles may move on. But the suffering in Palestine has not stopped. Ceasefires have come and gone — often broken, often ignored. As believers in justice and humanity, we cannot remain silent. We must continue to speak, to care, to act.
